"Es un deporte tan grande y especial que quería comenzar. Es tranquilo, estético, elegante pero también impresionante y fascinante. Y necesitas muchas habilidades diferentes para tener éxito", dice la alemana en su perfil en el sitio Fuelixir.Viola Brand comenzó a despeñarse en el ciclismo artístico en el 2000; en casi ocho años en desempeñándose de manera profesional, la joven ha sido campeona alemana y de Europa en dicha disciplina; también ha sido subcampeona mundial, además de obtener buenas posiciones en otras competencias internacionales."El ciclismo artístico me enseñó mucho desde muy joven y no sé quién sería sin él. A través de este deporte, obtuve mucha disciplina, voluntad para alcanzar mis objetivos y también me mejoró en todas las cosas que hago", afirma.Por otro lado, admite que actualmente la UCI no ha otorgado mucho apoyo e interés al ciclismo artístico, haciendo referencia a que el presidente del organismo estuvo en Stuttgart durante los campeonatos mundiales del 2016.
